Malnutrition is the cause of death for 3.6 million children worldwide. 1 in 4 children around the world are stunted, meaning there bodies won't fully develop due to malnutrition. Undernutrition accounts for 11 per cent of the global burden of disease and is considered the number one risk to health worldwide. Ways to reduce hunger and malnutrition: Education is a very key way to stop hunger and malnutrition from rising in the future. Educating people on proper nutrition, sanitation and hygiene so they stay healthy is crucial to addressing food insecurity. Improving agriculture to boost people's incomes around the world. Managing natural resources so people don't become so reliant on them.
